Tulips EMERGED
Sightings report image

Date: 04/10/2014

Number: 1

On Thursday, April 10th my grade 4 class discovered that our tulips had emerged. We are experiencing a later than normal spring but are excited that it has finally arrived. We are now enjoying milder temperatures and are witnessing many different signs of spring. For example, almost all of the snow on our playground has melted. The mud has arrived much to our custodians dismay. The robins are back, as well as the Canada Geese and the Red-Winged Blackbirds, the true harbingers of spring. We were so excited to see the new tulip growth emerge that we even surprised our Principal with a special full class announcement, "Spring is here!"
