The osprey pair returned to build their large nest at the top of a pole. They will stay till the first week of October...or did they depart in November last year. A good case for keeping written records and not relying on memory alone.
I bike down to the beginning of our street every morning to say hello to this mated pair. They cock their heads and acknowledge me.
