We homeschool and today our daughter was looking out at the hummingbird feeder and spotted our first ruby-throated hummingbird. A male!
He sat there for at least 3 minutes. This is the earliest I have ever seen one. I normally have them by May 2nd.

We had a good hard rain last night after a few lovely spring like days.
