FOS monarch in Wichita KS; Great Plains Nature Center

Saw a female looking for milkweed in a recently burned field today here in the park. I don’t think any milkweed is up yet however, but maybe she will find some. There is spider antelopehorn in that field. The new growth is scarcely ankle high so she really had to cruise low in her search!
