Driving back and forth from Lewistown, Montana to Great Falls, Montana, we watched many Red-Winged Blackbirds along the road especially East of Hobson, Montana. There are bogs on both sides of the road and we watched these birds sitting on the cat-tails. It looked like these birds had established territory. They were spaced far enough apart and were singing as you would see them in summer.
