We have had a severe winter with lots of sub-zero temperatures that actually caused several school closings. Because of this, we were very surprised to see that our tulips had emerged when we checked on April 8th. However, we had a huge snowstorm that started on the 10th and continued on through the 11th of April, causing school to close on the 11th. We have not seen much progress since then. We had 70 degree weather on Easter, but now we are back into the 40-50 degree range, and there are no blooms yet!
