I was sitting outside reading a book when I heard the familiar hum & squeak of a hummingbird. I caught movement to the right of me. Rufous was hovering barely a foot away from me. He moved up, down, then in front of me. I quietly said "Hello, there! You're a bit late this year, aren't you?" I was answered by another squeak and he zipped over to a feeder. My husband laughed & said the bird was attracted to my pink tank top! Maybe so!
