Bauneg Beg Pond, near Sanford, Maine


"Waban’s TREE Center, which has submitted weather report about the conditions at Bauneg Beg Leg for much of this year, reports that the ice-out at the lake is finally complete."
"On Monday, April 14, the staff at the TREE Center observed big chunks of ice still visible on the lake at around 9 a.m. Barely six hours later, the staff returned to the waterfront and observed complete open water."
