Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/26/2014

Number: 1

Today is blustery (16mph with gusts to 30mph). I happened to be walking through my back yard around 2pm and noticed a faded monarch fluttering around, low. I followed it through the yard. It seemed to have little energy left. My asclepius is barely up a week now. It flew over the fence before I could get it or have a close enough look at it to be sure of its sex. I'd say it was probably a female.
