Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/26/2014

Number: 1

We hung our Oriole and Hummingbird feeders out on April 21st. We've noticed the food level in the hummingbird feeder going down but hadn't witnessed any activity until today. While working outside, we finally saw a hummingbird, but she was at the Oriole feeder, which unfortunately has a lower sugar concentration in the food. The two feeders are about 30 feet apart, and hopefully she'll find the higher energy drink. Today is a grey, rather cold day, temperature 7C.
