Single male ruby-throated hummingbird observed sipping nectar from a feeder on my west-facing back porch at 5:30 pm.
I have had the feeder up since April 1, 2014 for this season. Last season the hummingbirds attended constantly from 6:30-9:30 am, and again from 4:30-7:30 pm. I am using the same feeder and same blend (1 part sugar, 1 part water, 4 drops red food coloring - changed once per week)
