My husband called me to watch the antics of two house sparrows building a nest from our kitchen window. Just then a humming bird came and checked out both of our kitchen window feeders and then took off heading north. Not sure if it was male or female. It didn't take a drink but maybe it had already sipped from one of our other four feeders. It was at 10:15am, the temp was 61 degrees on a sunny morning with a slight breeze. Earlier then last year (5/14). These little guys sure do bring joy and peace to my heart! Welcome back.
