I just happened to look out at my patio nectar feeder at 9 a.m. and spotted an adult male Ruby Throat checking out the feeder. I have had that feeder hanging out for about 2 weeks in anticipation of the arrival of my hummers, but this morning is the first time I have seen a hummer this 2014 season. Today is gray under overcast skies, windy, and right now 51 degrees F. WOOHOO!!! They are back!!!
