We have had a nectar feeder out for over a week but while observing the only takers were a few bees and an acrobatic chickadee. Alas, today a hummingbird was noticed checking out the flowering quince and the azaleas, but I could not see whether male or female. I quickly put out another feeder in its usual place so hopefully it and others will find it and stay around for the season.
