cut grass for the first time, lawn spring lush green. One maple has leaves about the size of a quarter, noticed the shade it created on ground, others are still buds. hicynthias bloomed around the 16th then most tulips a few days later. This is the first spring that alot of our tulips didn't emmerge, years previously lush with many blooms. Applied crabgrass preventer on the 14th, dandilions started to first appear in lawn on 22nd. Turned birdbath for use today but could have done it 2 weeks ago. Saw first gold finches (yellow) today. Also saw first bumble bee hovering and mud bee looking for cavities to fill.
