Thanks to Journey North reporting, we had our feeders ready to go last week. This morning a male ruby-throated hummer found our feeder. Given the cold, rainy weather, I think he was most happy to have our assistance. I had not expected hummingbirds this early! Meanwhile, my students reported seeing hummers this past weekend.
