I was shocked. At 9 am this morning I saw my first Oriole in about 15 yrs. The last time I had an Oriole visit was when Walmart and Lowes filled in the wet lands by the Rock River to build their shopping center. The neo-tropical lost their home and backed up into town. Every year I hang oranges, just in case, but no one ever finds me. Did this guy get blown off coarse in yesterday's storm or is the food situation so bad they are trying harder? Everything is blooming very late this year.
