While on a Field Study with my 4th grade class, we discovered three tiny eggs on the milkweed in the prairie ecosystem at Robertsville State Park. It was a sunny, but windy day. The temperature was around 65 degrees. The prarie was full of foot high milkweed. Fly proud monarchs!
