Today was overcast almost all day with temperatures in the low 80's. It was very breezy as well. I saw this male monarch going from milkweed to milkweed nectaring on the flowers. With temperatures getting higher and winds drying everything, it is good that the monarchs can find sustenance. It is likely he is long-journeyed, as his wings are faded and have some tattered edges. A blessing to have him stay awhile!
