It's been a very cold and unusually late spring. I've had my feeders up since April 1st. Yesterday afternoon, it was both rainy and cold, and I spotted my first male Ruby Throated out in my back yard on the feeder. It was skid dish but came back a couple of times. Later on I saw a different hummer at my front feeder jumping from the azaleas that just bloomed to my feeder and away... He came back once before dark. Welcome back!
