We have had a cold windy spring. The woods are finally showing some green here. We have bluebird on a nest of eggs but, also I found a cardinal nest with 3 eggs already. Tulips and daffodil blooming. We have lived in this 5 acre woods for 14 years and it is always greened out by may 1 but, not this year! The perennial columbine flower is about 3 inch big. Usually blooming by now. Saw my first hummingbird yesterday I'm not sure what they will eat this year. No orioles, indigo bunting or red breasted grosbeak. They usually come all within days of each other;
