At 5 pm I was outside drying off the oriole jelly feeder which I had just cleaned from winter storage when a male oriole flew to the FIrst Nature hummingbird feeder within 6 feet of where I was standing. He was very thirsty and took about 12 sips from the nectar and flew off. I hurried to get the grape jelly in the jelly feeder. I wish I had my camera since I was so close to him! He was a very welcome sight, his orange color so beautiful :)
