Despite the weather being less than optimal for butterflying (cloudy all day with heavy rain between 1 and 2:30 and temps ~72F), I managed to see a few butterflies. The highlight was a Checkered White at Mid-Pines Rd. and my FOY Monarch at the Yates Mill Co. Park.
