Number: 1

Today in Huntsville we had a male Painted Bunting. He has been hanging around the yard all day either sitting in the brush pile or feeding from the bird feeder. I took some pictures.

Forwarded by Don Davis who comments. "During the migration period, bird species that have no business being found in various geographic locations turn up. This colorful fellow is rare to the extreme, and has no business being 2 hours and 40 minutes north of Toronto at Huntsville. Should be no further north than about southern Kansas!"
