We've had several good warm rains and sleeping plants have awakened. While doing a first grass mow I noticed in the weed patches on edges, many young milkweed plants about a foot tall with 3 to 5 pairs of opposite 1 to 2 inch long by 1/2 to 1 inch wide leaves. There are buds but no flowers yet. I found no eggs as we have seen no Monarchs yet.
