Walking down our road about 7:00 pm we saw 3 adult monarchs flying along the hedgerow. Temperatures were near 100 this afternoon. It looks like they waited out the heat in our trees and decided to move once the temps cooled off a bit. All 3 were moving north-appeared to be migratory. My milkweed is presently too small for them to lay eggs.
