The monarch was observed on an arctic willow bush. I was astounded to see it because I know it’s way early for them to be here in the Mpls. Area. I even googled to see if it was something else because I thought it was a little small. I thought maybe it was a viceroy, but it was not. I was able to get a picture of it with my iPhone. I have a certified wildlife garden so am pretty observant and really very surprised to see this guy.
