Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/04/2014

Number: 1

Noticed a male ruby-throated hummingbird attempting to feed from a feeder with no perch. It was breezy and the wind was moving the feeder, so he was having a difficult time in getting any sugar water. I changed the feeder to one that has a perch. On May 5, I saw the bird feeding with no problem. So happy to have a hummer back in my yard. Looking forward to seeing others.
