Today I saw a healthy brightly colored Monarch on my milkweed for the 1st time this season. I have also seen several different swallowtails, Gulf Fritillary, Virginia Lady, sulphurs, Cassius Blue, Zebra Longwing, and several others that I was not close enough to identify.
I believe the Monarch was a female and since I have a lot of healthy milkweed in my yard I'm sure I will be seeing more soon. My backyard is a registered Monarch Habitat.
