I put my feeder on the hook on 05/04/14 but was afraid it may be too late to have it host a hummer this summer. I had been watching for the majority of each day with hopes to see a bird. Just when I thought I may have been right (or just momentarily frustrated), a beautiful male swooped in around 6:15 this afternoon!

I saw him visit the feeder twice before I had to leave the house for some errands. The sightings were about 10 minutes apart. I hope he decides to stay at my feeder this season.
