After reporting my first adult male ruby-throated hummingbird last week, I now have two female hummers that have been frequenting my feeders on my classroom windows. I have seen both females at the same time in order to confirm both birds. The male hummer is also still feeding throughout the day. I am excited for my students to be able to spot their first hummingbird and witness the chases that took place today.
