He flew across my backyard into the maple tree in the side yard. He sang for about ten minutes and then moved on. I have tried for many years to entice them to a feeder with no success. They often nest in the big cottonwood tree in the vacant lot across from our house but this year someone is building a house in that lot so they may move on.
