I saw the first common milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) and swamp milkweed (Asclepias incarnata) coming up in my garden. Both had latex when I broke off a little piece of the leaf, and the common milkweed was a much lighter green and fuzzy. The plants are still pretty closed up (without the leaves spreading out yet) but have at least four leaves each.
