My husband saw our first Oriole of the season at 10:00 this morning. While he stood at the patio door talking to a friend on the phone about the sighting... a hummingbird appeared right in front of him! After I returned home from work I enjoyed seeing a female and male return to enjoy the grape jelly; oranges and nectar we had put out for them. This is the third year in which the orioles were first sighted on May 8th. (Been keeping track for 5 years now)
