The spring birds started arriving on May 7th. The morning of May 8th, we were invaded by dozens of birds...orioles, hummingbirds, towhees, grosbeaks, warblers & more. The orioles and hummingbirds were at the feeders,3 and 4 birds at a time for most of the morning. I ended up putting a 3rd feeder out. The magnolias are just staring to open and the French pussy willows are beginning to fall from the tree. We are located about 500 feet from the beach at the southern end of Lake Huron.
