This is my first confirmed sighting of the season. A single male came to the feeder at my kitchen window at about 4:30 PM. I thought I had seen hummers in my yard as early as 4/20 but these were just momentary flashes which could have been other birds. Note that as of 5/6 I have seen as many as 3 males fighting over territory in my yard.
