Ice-Out

Date: 05/06/2014

Number: 1

The ice went out on the Stewart River last night (5/6). It was incredible to see the big chunks of ice breaking up and starting to flow. The sound was pretty powerful as well. I wish I had taken my camera with me so I could take some pictures. So now we are just waiting on Mayo Lake to open up, it is usually ice free near the end of May. I'll keep you posted.
