Put out our hummingbird feeder two days ago, sunset obscured by clouds but enough light to observe seed bird feeders and the hummingbird feeders. Did not expect to see any birds this late as the sunset had happened at 7:50pm so all of a sudden the Ruby female flew over the deck rail right to the feeder at 7:55pm and perched on feeder, sipping a bit until 7:59pm when she flew off. Photo a little blurry as dusk happening. Last year the first visit was on the 22 May2013 so this is earlier than expected. Weather is warmer now, 61 degrees with early morning rain.
