We actually have had for the past 2 years, rufous and anna's hummingbirds wintering here in Delta! By March 11th the females (I'm assuming) show up and we have anywhere from 15 to 20 arriving at our feeders for March/April by May it seems to steady out to about 8 regulars. (Possibly people in the neighbourhood finally put their feeders out which accounts for the smaller group in May thru the summer) During the winter we have our Rufous boys (2 or 3) and occasionally what I think are a couple of Anna's that show up at the feeder.
