Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/12/2014

Number: 1

First female ruby throated of the season was drinking from feeder at 8:30 AM. In total so far, 2 males, 1 female. Not as many as this time last year which was a much colder spring a year ago. Mostly sunny, winds calm from the S. 67 degrees. A chance of thunderstorms moving in soon. We have leaf out now, and some wild flowers are starting to bloom along with some flowering trees. Hope to see more soon.
