Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 05/11/2014

Number: 1

I want to let you know that here in the Central Basin of Tennessee we have this really wonderful ecosystem known as the Cedar Glades. MTSU site on the glades http://www.mtsu.edu/glade-center/ I live and report to JN from Wilson County, TN.

Today, we stumbled upon hundreds and hundreds of a. viridis plants! In bloom! IN bare lots that have very little soil. Now that I know exactly where to look for these I will keep a closer watch for monarchs in those areas. None yet but middle TN native green milkweed is ready for them! Finding these plants is almost as much fun as finding monarch cats!
