I have had my feeder out for a little over a week now in anticipation of "the arrival". At 6:20PM a male zipped in for a drink. I was so excited to see him. I had participated in Dr. Bill Hilton's Operation Ruby-throat trip to Ujarras, Costa Rica in Novemeber 2013 to assist with research on Ruby-throats in their wintering grounds. These birds are amazing and I can't help but wonder (and it is indeed very likley) that this is one of my birds from last season and even past seasons.
