I had been away from my house for about 10 days or so; putting the bird feeders up before I left. The hummers were there in abundance when I returned on Friday, May 9. Not sure exacly when they arrived. Also saw a bird arrive on Mother's Day, the 11th, that seemed like she must have just gotten there 'cuz she was REALLY hungry.
