I saw two male broad-tailed hummingbirds fighting over the feeders this evening. It sounded like there were at least three males in the area. When they weren't fighting, they fed for long periods of time at the feeder, as they must be very hungry. A snow storm came in on Sunday morning, lasted through Monday morning, dumped a foot of snow in the area, and brought strong winds. The temperatures have been in the high 30s and 40s since with freezing temps at night.
