Because of the severe weather last winter, I thought the milkweed plants froze out but in the past few days they are starting to emerge; not many stems but they are there. Hopefully, they will increase as the weather gets warmer.
I also saw the first Monarch yesterday and also today. They didn't stay but flew by our gardens.
