I was working in my flower garden near the feeder when I heard a loud buzz go past my ear. Then another buzz, but did not see the bird. Then a third buzz, and I glimpsed him from the corner of my eye. I took my hoe and walked several steps away and waited. It didn't take long for the little fellow to appear, and drink long and deep from my hummingbird feeder. Welcome back!
