I have seen four robin nests this year. The first was in a pile of sticks, it was abandoned after a few days. Then two were found in separate young pine trees, one had two eggs and one had four eggs. One of the eggs in the nest with two is gone.
The fourth nest was in a staghorn sumac bush in a thicket of sumac, three eggs were in it. Two of them hatched today, the third is not there anymore.
