Finally saw our first Baltimore Oriole male on Sunday 5/04, then several more followed in the next few days. Last year they appeared on 4/15. They are ignoring the nectar feeder and going for the grapes and grape jelly. We had splurged for Welch's Farmer's Pick Natural, no corn syrup, grape jelly, thinking the birds would prefer sugar but they don't go for it nearly as well, so we've gone back to the corn syrup product. Perhaps it is sweeter.
