This earthworm was approximately three and a half to four inches long. One quarter of it was a bright pink and the other side was a dull, whitish-brown color. A long, bright red vein could be seen in its center.
The worm quickly squirmed across a patch of soil at 5:26PM and then crawled into a small hole in the soil until it disappeared. It was extremely sunny during this time and approximately 55-65 degrees Fahrenheit.
It was raining earlier that day, and it was extremely moist outside. This was probably why the worm was active.
