Bald Eagle

Date: 05/16/2014

Number: 1

As I was waiting for the train at the Radnor train station, I was admiring this large bird gliding on the thermals. When it finally turned, Its white head and white tail were clear against the dark gray of a cumulus cloud. I pointed out to others on the platform. It was a magnificent sight. My guess this bird may have come from around Valley Forge Park. I tried to take a picture of it on my smart phone but failed due to my lack of technical skills. Wish I had my old Nikon!
